Celebrating 12 Years During the 2021 - 2022 Season
The CDYST is in its 12th season of providing youth bowlers with challenging and competitive scratch bowling tournaments and the opportunity to earn scholarship prizes and compete in the USBC Junior Gold and Youth Open Championships. The overwhelming support of the area bowling proprietors, our sponsors, and our bowlers and their families has established the CDYST as a premier youth bowling tournament organization.
In addition to being a foundation for a three-time Team USA member and two Junior Team USA members, CDYST bowlers have gone on to win National Titles at Junior Gold, the Teen Masters, and the USBC Youth Open. Our bowlers and alumni have also earned medals at major international competitions; become PWBA National and PBA Regional Champions; Collegiate National Champions and All-Americans; High School State Champions; and many other prestigious titles and honors at the top levels of our sport.
During our 2020 - 2021 season, the COVID-19 pandemic shortened our season to 7 tournaments with modified formats; but we still awarded nearly $12,000 in scholarships to our talented bowlers; and 18 bowlers earned entries into the 2021 Junior Gold Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. We have awarded over $180,000 in scholarships since our first tournament in May 2010.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering a limited schedule of events at host centers throughout New York’s Capital District and vicinity, while enforcing social distancing protocols.
